In the 1990s, Seoul, South Korea, was paralyzed with fear as a string of gruesome murders unfolded, leaving a trail of terrorized women in their wake. The killer, dubbed Red Hat, seemed to strike at random, with no discernible motive behind the brutal attacks. The police were left scratching their heads, struggling to anticipate the next strike and grasp the reasoning behind the carnage. As the nation teetered on the brink of panic, the head of the Criminal Behavior Analysis team, Gook Young Soo, sought out the expertise of Song Ha Young, a reserved yet remarkably perceptive team member. Gook Young Soo was convinced that applying the innovative profiling techniques used by the American FBI could be the key to identifying the killer and putting an end to the bloodshed. However, the police were venturing into uncharted territory, and even the seasoned homicide expert, Yoon Tae Goo, was grappling with the unprecedented approach.
